New Video Up!

Oh the angst! After much trepidation, I finally jumped the technology hurdle and got a video made. It’s not much, but I had to jump in some where, so I did a flip through of my “Happy Mail” binder.

A sneak peek. I love this cover! As I say in the video, I’m hoping to get some of these into my shoppe soon. My hope is to make videos of shoppe newness sharing more details.

I’d love for you to take a look at my latest video, it’s only about 8 minutes long.  Here’s the link PattysArtJournals.

Keeping it short and sweet this week,

Thanks for dropping by,

Have a wonderful weekend,

~Patty

Happy Mail Binders

Because I went back to my old blog and deleted all my posts, I thought it might be a good idea to repost some of my personal favorites here.

I was recently asked about my Happy Mail binders, so I thought this might be a good place to start.

IMG_6829These are what used to be my planners. They worked out great, but the feel of them was a bit rough. They make great Happy Mail binders though! And, because I am lucky enough to have several of these binders, I have distributed my mail throughout by style and color. My love of alternative organizing continues.

The cards just slide right in and there is a little pocket left at the top for little bits and bobs. Perfect! This is some Happy Mail from the Spring 2015 iHanna DIY Postcard Swap.

I absolutely Love vintage playing cards, so these collector card pages are perfect to hold them in. This a collection of goodies I received from Jennifer Perkins, a crafter and decorator extraordinaire!

This beautiful card is from my pen pal Iryna in Belarus. Love! and a cute little tag from Leslie Ackman, along with the loveliness at the top of the post!

Lately I have been overwhelmed with kindness from fellow artists, Thank you Judy! These zip pouches are great for holding various stamps and decor for future happy mail projects and swaps.

And here is the latest addition to my collection, a gorgeous card from the lovely Diane Baker-Williams, along with loads of awesome vintage ephemera!

I really want to start looking for other happy mail swaps, think I’ll do that today!

Hope your having a great weekend in your neck of the woods,

Thanks for the visit,

~Patty

Happy Mail

It’s time to share my happy mail from the iHanna Postcard Swap, so much fun, I participate every time she has one!

I even start gathering up goodies for the next one almost immediately! I am also including links with the artists that included them with their cards.

I’m grouping them in fours. There are supposed to 10, but sometimes there are a few stragglers. Going clockwise from top left is Lynn‘s beautiful work, I took a peek at the other cards she made for the swap, I want one of each please! The next one  is by Claudia. She has a wonderful website with lots of eye candy! Then Jenny’s gorgeous card . Unfortunately, the post office wasn’t as careful as they should have been, and a part was torn off. Sorry Jenny! Last, but not least, is one from Uršala in Slovenia, such craftsmanship!

Here are my bright and beautiful ones! Again from top left Charlotta’s, from Sweden. Thank you Charlotta! A beauty from Rachel in Texas, so much detail and layering! “Home Sweet Home” from Jan in Iowa, sweet! Then this cute  bird with stamping from Cynthia in Florida, Love!

All of these will find a home in my Happy Mail binders…

…some of them already have!

IMG_7409

I hope this inspires you to join a happy snail mail swap group. And if you already have, please tell me about it! I have two more of these binders to fill up and lots of goodies to use to make more happy mail!

Thanks for the visit,

Have a great day,

~Patty
