A New Art Journal, A New Video, and A Brave Decision

In my efforts to clean and declutter my spaces…and I mean ALL spaces, I decided that I still have too many half finished projects. So this quite-a-bit on the larger side journal needed to start getting worked on.

It was bound, full of pages (and potential) and ready to go…but never went anywhere, another one of those projects that left me uninspired. So, I took it apart and used the pages in other journals, all that was left was the covers and binding wires.

The other day it got a reprieve! And this morning I made a video of it’s maiden voyage (meaning I decorated a page)!

I haven’t gotten around to the journaling yet, but she’s ready to go!

I hope you will take a minute to stop by my YouTube channel and check out my page process video

Now about the “Brave” part. I’ve quit Facebook for good (I hope)! I know it sounds strange, but I almost got hacked again, I rarely use it, and seems more of a hassle than it is worth. I have control over the content in all my other social media venues, but facebook feels as if it has a mind of it’s own, like a gigantic monster…okay that’s a little over the top, but you know what I mean. But this is also another one of those “De-clutter projects” that I’ve been working over the last couple of years, a “Tech de-clutter”!

Anyway, I would really like your input on the subject. Please let me know your feelings about Facebook, good or bad, in the comments.

In the meantime,

Have a great week,

Thanks for stopping by,

~Patty

  1. I don’t belong to Facebook, never have – it seems too risky & also too time-consuming to bother with. I read blogs & use Pinterest.
