Hi friends, a lot has been happening in my neck of the woods, but I wanted to take a minute and say hello while I have the chance.
Lately most of my time has been dedicated to home projects and spending time with family. No complaints here on that score, but things will be changing soon because my daughter and her family are moving east a few states and I won’t have them close by anymore. It’s all for the better for her little family, but I’m really going to miss them. Suffice it to say, I’ll have a lot more time on my hands soon.

I found a fews minutes to pull out my little “A Cottage For Betsy” journal for some playtime, this is probably the best page spread I’ve done in here yet.
An homage to working on the house and using up some stash. I found that little frame stuck to the bottom of one of my containers (eye roll emoji)

Spending time with family over the last couple of months has really been a joy, but I really need to back on the “memory keeping bus” before I forget details…
…like this!
Raking leaves with my grandson.

I really miss chatting and sharing with you all!
With the colder weather arriving, I’ll have lots more time to spend on creative projects. I’ve been working on some crochet projects I’d like to share soon.
So, until then,
Have a great week,
~Patty
Hi Patty! enjoyed the share of what’s been going on, your pictures are always so delightful, and your grandson in the leaves is priceless! Sounds like some big changes in your world, have the tissues handy my friend. I know from experience when our kiddos aren’t nearby … it’s not easy but we’re always happy for them when good things come their way and they’re happy. I guess it’s one of the ‘bittersweet’ moments of being a parent. Hang in there…
Finding that frame on the bottom of a container – I can relate! We never know where the perfect piece of ‘something’ will show up do we-lol!
I’ve been thinking of you as I pulled out the Christmas goodies you sent me last year. So glad I stashed everything in a good place and had no trouble finding them last week! I’m planning to add some papers inside the stitched folder you made (stuffed with goodies and even more bits and bobs in an envelope) and use that as a landing place for anything that catches my eye via the mail, etc-all Holiday related. Not a traditional December Daily but my own spin on a combination gluebook-smashbook-holiday journal. Very excited to get it all set up this week 🙂
Thanks again for sharing your world with us and for the Christmas snail mail last year. It’s going to be used up and so much fun!

Thank you so much for your kind words Jenny, it is bittersweet, I want them to be happy! My daughter has a lot to do getting the house ready to sell so I’ve been spending a lot of time with my grandson, it’s been great!
I’m so glad to hear your using your Christmas happy mail…I’m sooo ready for Christmas this year! I’m decorating early to stretch it out as much as possible before they leave.
Thank you again for commenting, talk to you soon!

It’s been a busy year Nancy, and I’m hoping to try to start sharing more of some of my creative projects other than art journaling soon
