Happiest of Happy Mail

A couple of weeks ago I received a package in the mail that completely blew me away! The happiest kind of happy mail, a Random Act of Kindness from my sweet friend Judy!

It was filled with paper treasures of all kinds…

The coolest antique ephemera I have ever seen, let alone owned!

It will take a very special project for me to use these, and I’m getting pretty close to an idea.

I have had these old scrapbooks for quite a few years now, and have been waiting for just the right project to use them for.

The pages are pretty tattered. And as you can see, they were used in the way scrapbooks used to be used for, collecting scraps of paper.

I think that this awesome ephemera and these scrapbooks are a marriage made in heaven! I’m going to do a little homework and see what I can come up with. Thank you so much Judy!

And, as always,

Thank you for the visit,

Have a great day,

Patty

  1. I just remember some of your pages from the previous blog that truly made me happy. When I had a dull uninspiring day I could look at your stuff over and over again. It nearly broke my heart when those posts became unavailable. I hope you have preserved the journals and your photos of flowers. Some reposts maybe…? I sometimes leaf through my old journals and it jumpstarts my inspiration. On the other hand, this ephemera you got is so unique and so fragile. It needs to be showcased in a very delicate way… It’s hard to give any ideas…

  2. Wow, super awesome. Makes one green with envy, but also makes one wonder what cool stuff a pro like you can make with all this beauty!
